Annie asked:

Ok I can never put on foundation without getting lots of marks, that's powder and liquid?
Also eyeliner I have only tried pencil, and that goes wrong, and how do you apply liquid?
Mascara how do you apply it properly.
And just generally any make-up tips please?
Also what are some good products?
Thanks very much :) xx

Foundation: are you sure you’re using the right color? Maybe try using sponge applicators. They put your makeup on more smoothly than your hands, I’ve heard, and you can get into smaller areas like the crease of your nose. However, if your color is too dark you’re going to get lines no matter what!

Liquid Eyeliner: What I do is do pencil first then trace over it with liquid. Its easier to get it the way you want. Start with THIN lines so you don’t look odd.

Hi, your foundation might not be the right shade. When you apply it, you shouldn’t be able to tell the difference between your skin and your foundation. I know it’s hard to find the right shade, but keep trying and you will find it! You can use a powder to set your liquid foundation, or you can use a powder foundation (try mineral foundation).
To apply liquid liner, pull your eye a little tight and gently line your eye as close to your lash line as possible. Try doing it in short lines instead of one large line. Make sure to use a thin brush to get a nice, even, thin line. The first couple times you might mess up, but remove it with a makeup remover and just keep trying, you’ll get it!
For foundation I really like Revlon Colorstay, it is a good drugstore brand!

just keep practicing and watch tutorials on youtube or ask an aunt, cousin, mom, or sister close to you to show you how. Eventually you’ll find a way to apply it that you like
