Male Skin Products – Beauty and the Metrosexual Man

Mike Singh asked:

Although, the real men of past are still hanging tough, going to work, after shaving and slapping on some alcohol based shaving lotion, making money, supporting their families while handing over their hard earned money to their wives to take care of all the basics and necessities, while they wrestle may or may not wrestle hogs and alligators with their own bare un-manicured cured hands, just to prove their a man, the metrosexual man may be one or more of his dear sons.

Metrosexual men are very real men. Real heterosexual men who work and play hard, while laboring away, in any number of well paid occupations. Men who enjoy taking time to play as well as pampering themselves, just because they can. Men who love to have their hair and nails done as well as work out in fitness centers, while being in touch with their more feminine natures. They enjoy wearing nice clothes as well as male skin products. Metrosexual men enjoy being looked at and admired by everyone. Some people call it narcissism, but it is a normal modern day guy thing.

What is to complain about? For years women have done their best to persuade men to be more sensitive to their needs and to the world around them, as well as encouraging they way they present themselves, seems like a normal progression. Hey guys, you've come a long way baby!

Male skin care products, fashions and shoe wear, have risen and thriving. With an increase of ten to thirty percent since last year. It really is not that surprising when you consider the multitude of celebrities, who are the role models of the metrosexual. It is no wonder that men of today are choosing the very best male skin products, because they want to look and feel their best.

Believe it or not, many men have sensitive skin and they do need to take the same kinds of precautions as women when it comes to dry, inflamed or irritated skin. Using the best male skin care products can offer men soft, supple hydrated skin, as well as protection from everyday environmental elements that cause damage to unprotected skin.

Knowing what to look for in male skin care products can make a big difference in the appearance of your skin. Here you will find a list of natural ingredients that are included in many skin care products for men.

Some of the common male skin product ingredients are:
- Aloe Vera
- Babassu Oil
- Beta Carotene
- Beer
- Capuacu Butter
- Coconut
- Cucumber
- Fish Oil
- Functional Keratin
- Grapeseed Oil
- Honey
- Kelp
- Lavender Oil
- Milk
- Mint Oil
- Olive Oil
- Sage Oil
- Sea Salt
- Tea Tree Oil
- Vitamins A, B5, C and E
- Witch Hazel

Men of today can enjoy using products that make them look and feel handsome and debonair. Such skin care products for men may include, male skin creams and lotions, moisturizers, body creams, exfoliates as well as foundation and eyeliner as well as a few other items for good grooming. Male skin creams are generally unscented, which is a good thing as this leaves room for all the ladies to enjoy the scent of the cologne a man may be wearing. We should all enjoy the emergence of the metrosexual man and his grooming habits.

This to Consider When Choosing Beauty Products For Sensitive Skin

Charlie R asked:

When a person has sensitive skin choosing what type of beauty products to use can be a daunting task. You do not want to use any products that are going to cause irritation to your skin, nor do you want to use any products that are made from harsh chemicals.

Normally, someone that has this type of skin (sensitive) will have thinner skin that consists of fine pores that can easily be agitated when harsh chemicals are added to it. Their skin will become easily flushed and may have the appearance of capillaries that have busted underneath their skin.

A person whose skin is extremely sensitive may suffer from the outbreak of rashes and may have an extensive history of being especially sensitive to any chemical that have any source of acid mixed into them.

When it comes to choosing beauty products for your delicate skin, you need to opt to only purchase products that bear the name hypoallergenic on them. Hypoallergenic is a name that is used for a product that was created just for people with skin that gets irritated easily.

Upon seeing the name hypoallergenic, you can assure that the product has been thoroughly tested to ensure that it does not cause any adverse side effects when used on sensitive skin.

People with this type of delicate skin should also assure that the beauty products that they decide to buy do not have any fragrances that were used to make them. A lot of beauty products that contain artificial fragrances are known to cause skin allergies and for people with easily irritated skin this may cause an allergic reaction.

You should also try to look for beauty products that are non-cosmogenic. These products will not clog your pores when applied to the surface of your skin. When you have sensitive skin, you do not want to create any additional problems for yourself. Inadvertently clogged pores can be detrimental to people that have exceptionally irritable skin.

People that have sensitive skin should always opt to look for beauty products that suggest that they are available for people with sensitive skin to use. If you come across a list of beauty products that does not mention anything about sensitive skin, it is best that you steer away from it.

Sensitive skin is a major issue when it comes to choosing the correct beauty products for you. Inadvertently everyone wants to put their best face forward, but when you have sensitive skin the task may be harder to complete.

The Miracle of Botox – An Introduction (Part 1)

Ito Nakamura asked:

Injections of Botox, one of the fastest-growing cosmetic procedures on the market today, are used for the reduction or elimination of ****** wrinkles caused by dynamic, or hyper-functional, muscles (muscles that get a lot of use). Those are the wrinkles that form when you contract your ****** muscles to form a frown, squint, grimace, smile, or other type of expression, resulting in those tell-tale lines around your eyes, mouth, or nose, and across your forehead. Botox can be very effective in temporarily getting rid of some, but not all, of your ****** wrinkles. But before we talk about which wrin

How To Choose The Right Skin Products

Ahmed Foaud asked:

One of the most important things a woman can do to look good is to take care of her skin.
Glowing skin beats having on tons of make-up to cover up blemishes, lines and an uneven skin tone. The better you take care of your skin especially when you are young, the lesser skin problems you will have to deal with when you are older. Using anti-aging skin care products when you're in your 20s and using sun block regularly will prevent sun damage to your skin and will make you more youthful looking even when you age. There are also specific skin care treatments you must do to address your skin problems.

One way to make sure you are taking good care of your skin is to use good products that match your lifestyle and skin type. When you use effective products to deal with skin problems and to maintain a healthy skin you will prevent any damages to your skin.

The problem now is choosing the right products to use for your skin care regimen. There are thousands of beauty products in the market, all promising the best results. How then do you choose the best brands among the countless products? Do you spend all your hard-earned money buying all the different brands so you can try them all? Do you go with the trend and buy what everyone else is buying? Do you go with what your favorite celebrity is endorsing? Or should you go with the products with the most creative packaging?

Remember, there is cutthroat competition in the beauty industry and there are plenty of brands who spend millions of dollars on advertising and marketing to create a buzz around their brands so don't be dazzled by celebrity endorsers, great packaging and interesting ads and promos. If you really want to get the best products, make sure you understand two things: 1) your skin type and 2) what effect specific ingredients have.

Knowing your skin type helps you choose the perfect product suited for your skin. When you already have dry skin and use products for oily skin, then the product will totally strip your face of moisture and make drier.

Understanding the effect of specific ingredients helps you choose products on the fundamental level, stripped of the hype of advertising. Go online and study the specific ingredients you read on product labels. When you understand what a specific ingredient does to your skin then you will know what products you can use aside from the big brands featured on glossies. You can try different products and just use the active ingredients as guide to what will work for your skin condition. By understanding the effects of specific ingredients, you can also avoid products that may have ingredients that can cause even more problems in the long run.

Aside from understanding your skin type and the main ingredients used in cosmetics, there are also several things you must remember in choosing good skin care products. First, do not believe products that promise changes in your skin overnight. Many of these products require prolonged use to be truly effective. Create a routine so that you can use the products daily and get the best results.

If possible, try to get product samples before purchasing. This should help you weed out products that may damage your skin.

2 part question: Dark Under eye circles AND make up tips for sensitive eyes?

Little B asked:

Part 1:

I have had very dark raccoon circles under my eyes since I was a kid, a combination of genetics and horrible seasonal allergies- I get 8-9 hours of sleep every night, so that is not the issue.

My question is what can I use to camouflage, or even better, abolish, these awful zombie circles- I work at a bank and I actually had one of my customers ask if I had been hit in my eyes...

I have very sensitive eyes, a lot of products cause me to tear up and get very itchy eyes, which results in a sneezy, drippy mess... eew.

Part 2:

I have gorgeous bright green, but deep set, eyes. What are some tips to make my eyes 'pop' and look larger, and stand out. Some types of makeup applications make me look like I am glaring or angry. Unfortunately I cannot tolerate eye-liner on my waterline, it triggers my allergies.

Please recommend hypoallergenic products-- Thanks for your time!
